I'm spending too much time on Facebook. But the connections I'm finding there are pretty interesting and sometimes amazing. I got reacquainted with an old (girl)friend from high school, and have found relatives I didn't know I had.
I also have a few clergy friends with whom I have connected, and others whom I follow via their blog. Now, I have all these suggestions for friends whose picture shows them in clerical collars. The temptation is to send a friend request to everyone wearing a collar. But I'm really trying to restrain myself and only connect with people I know or those whose work I know.
But its fun, and you never know what sort of surprises you'll encounter.
