I like supporting our locally owned First Street Coffee. It was bought a few years back by a local mother-daughter team and they do a great job. They are friendly, the service is excellent, and they remember you & your drink. The problem is that I don't like their cappuccinos. I hate to admit to it, but I really prefer the cappuccinos from Megabucks. It struck me that I would go to First Street, get a cappuccino and drink less then half of it before I would toss it in the sink. Not a good use of time or money. If I go to Megabucks I enjoy the whole thing.
I was trying to figure out how to tell the ladies at First Street Coffee how to make my cappuccino so I enjoy it, but I'm not sure that's the point. They use a different brand of coffee, and really, I think it is simply more bitter than what you get at Megabucks.
I feel terribly disloyal walking into Megabucks, but what do ya do?
