I ordered a set of 6 dessert glasses from Amazon for the smoothies Terry and I make most mornings. One of them arrived chipped, much to my annoyance. I didn't want to deal with a return to Amazon and getting a replacement set of six for just one glass. So I found the Web site of the manufacturer and filled out their feedback form, explaining the situation, and asking if they would replace the glass.
I didn't get a response so I resorted to the old-fashioned postal mail method. I included complete documentation and a picture of the glass. I still didn't get a response, and had just about given up. Then one day I heard the UPS truck rumble in front of the house and the doorbell ring. I wondered what it could be, as the only thing I had on order wasn't due until the following week. I found a very large box sitting outside the door with the name Bormioli Rocco on the return address.
I opened the box and found a massive amount of packing material, with not one but two dessert glasses buried deep inside, safe and well-wrapped. Cool!
